Walnut Ridge has high hopes for our French Brittany's!

 We are in the process of building an impressive dog kennel with the intention of breeding these exceptional canines.  The preserve has just welcomed in five new puppies into our genetic stock; Abigail, Aimee, Annabell, and Allison.  We are getting excited to get the breeding process started!!

The French Brittany, also known as Epagneul Breton, can be traced back to the 1700's in Europe.  Though differing by being smaller in size, relaxed style, and multicolor in its coloration, it is the forefather to the American Brittany.  It is also AKC (American Kennel Club) registered. 

The French Brittany needs to bond with their family.  A family environment provides a better hunting dog.  These dogs desire the love and companionship of its owner. 

The French Brittany is a sociable dog, which adapts to any environment.  It has a lively, intelligent expression. Multi-purpose gundog for any game or any terrain.  It is a very good retriever and has a good aptitude to training!
